This monthly series is presented by Downtown Billings and The Billings Public Library. The speakers/presenters and topics change each month, each selected to help inform our community of resources available within our city, county, and region as well as introduce key people and agencies involved. ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: - Thursday, June 18, 2026, 3:00 โ 4:00 pm - Billings Public Library, Community Room - Topic: Supporting Youth Stability: Prevention, Crisis Response, and Community Pathways This session focuses on Supporting Youth Stability: Prevention, Crisis Response, and Community Pathways, bringing together youth-serving organizations, behavioral health providers, education partners, and crisis response systems to explore how the community supports young people experiencing instability, behavioral health challenges, housing insecurity, family conflict, and other barriers impacting long-term stability and well-being. Panelists will provide an overview of the services and supports available for youth and families in Yellowstone County, including prevention programs, crisis intervention services, shelter and housing resources, behavioral health supports, school and community partnerships, and pathways for accessing care and assistance. The discussion will highlight how organizations coordinate to identify youth needs early, respond during times of crisis, and create opportunities for long-term stability and positive outcomes. The conversation will also explore current challenges impacting youth in the community, including gaps in services, barriers to accessing support, system coordination challenges, and opportunities to strengthen prevention and early intervention efforts. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of the resources available for youth and families, how to access support, and how community systems work together to improve safety, stability, and outcomes for young people in Yellowstone County.
