Event 8:00 PM

James McMurtry and the Martial Law Review

Please join us for James McMurtry and the Martial Law Review with special guest Betty Soo on Tuesday, August 4th in the Pub Station Ballroom.    ABOUT JAMES McMURTRY:  James McMurtry released The Black Dog and the Wandering Boy on June 20th via New West Records.  The 10-song collection was co-produced by McMurtry & Don Dixon (R.E.M., The Smithereens) and is his first album in four years.  It follows his 2021 acclaimed new West debut, The Horses and the Hounds, which UnCut Magazine said “lifts storytelling-in-song to meticulous new levels" and Pitchfork awarded an 8.0, saying “James McMurtry stands out even among the Lone Star State’s finest songwriters…” The Black Dog and the Wandering Boy features appearances by Sarah Jarosz, Charlie Sexton, Bonnie Whitmore, Bukka Allen and more, alongside his trusted backing band, THE MARTIAL LAW REVIEW, Tim Holt on guitar and accordion, Cornbread on bass and Daren Hess on drums.   As varied as they are, McMurtry’s new story-songs find inspiration in scraps from his family’s past: a rough pencil sketch by Ken Kesey that serves as the album cover, the hallucinations experienced by his father, the legendary writer Larry McMurtry, an old poem by a family friend.  A supremely insightful and inventive storyteller, McMurtry teases vivid worlds out of small details, setting them to arrangements that have elements of Americana but sound too sly and smart for such a general category. Funny and sad often in the same breath, The Black Dog and the Wandering Boy adds a new chapter to a long career that has young songwriters like Sarah Jarosz and Jason Isbell cite him as a formative influence.         Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office. Amble with special guest Fabrizio – Moved from the Taproom into the Ballroom – (SOLD OUT)

Due to popular demand, this show was moved from our Taproom into our Ballroom.   ------------   Please join us for Amble with special guest Fabrizio in the Pub Station Ballroom on Wednesday, August 5th.      ABOUT AMBLE:  Channeling the power of tried-and-true friendship and tapping into the serenity of the surrounding countryside, Irish trio Amble harness a rare magic threaded into the fabric of their novelistic folk. The group—Robbie Cunningham (lead vocals/guitar), Ross McNerney (mandolin/bouzouki), and Oisin McCaffrey (guitar/vocals)—have unassumingly gone from quitting their day jobs in rural Western Ireland to the doorstep of an international breakthrough buoyed by over 100 million streams and sold-out shows around the world. After just one gig together, they unlocked uncanny creative interplay with each member penning songs and pouring life experience into the lyrics. Amble fueled buzz with breakouts “Mariner Boy” and “Lonely Island,” but life changed when the band received a call from Warner Records with an offer. Signing to the label in 2024, the band had an unimaginable past year that spawned their latest EP The Commons and a captivating live presence, as they canvased North America and Europe with packed houses on both sides of the Atlantic. Their relatability, intimate storytelling, and authenticity marry seamlessly with no-frills acoustic instrumentation, serene soundscapes, and heavenly natural harmonies. Now, this spirit courses through their 2025 full-length debut LP , Reverie [Warner Records], and much more to come.         Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office. AUG 8
Event 8:00 PM

An Evening with Suzy Bogguss

Please join us for an Evening with Suzy Bogguss on Saturday, August 8th in the Pub Station Ballroom. Please note, this show is general admission seated.    ABOUT SUZY BOGGUSS:  During the creative explosion that was country music in the 1990s Suzy Bogguss sold 4 million records with sparkling radio hits like “Outbound Plane”, “Someday Soon”, “Letting Go”, “Drive South”, and “Hey Cinderella". But you can’t peg Suzy that easily…   In the midst of her country popularity she took time off to make a duets album with the legendary Chet Atkins. In 2003 she made an album of modern swing music with Ray Benson of Asleep At The Wheel. An album of original music in 2007 landed her at number 4 on the jazz charts. Her folk music roots show through in her frequent appearances on public radio’s A Prairie Home Companion, in the Grammy she earned for her work on Beautiful Dreamer: The Songs of Stephen Foster, and in her critically acclaimed album and book project from 2011, American Folk Songbook. In 2014 she released Lucky, a collection of songs written by Merle Haggard and interpreted through Suzy’s crystal vocals from the female point of view. Her latest offering, Prayin’ For Sunshine, is an Americana tour de force with all songs written by Bogguss. She continues to tour the world, both on her own and with fellow country radio divas Terri Clark and Pam Tills as “Chicks With Hits” and more recently, with Kathy Mattea on their Together At Last tour. So yes, you can call her a country singer if you want, but really that’s just the beginning.     Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office. Static-X with special guest Dope and Render Me Silent

Please join us for Static-X with special guests, Dope and Render Me Silent on Saturday August 8th in the Pub Station Ballroom.      ABOUT STATIC-X One of the genre-defining bands of the late 90s, Static-X was founded in Los Angeles CA in 1994 by lead vocalist/guitarist Wayne Static and drummer Ken Jay. The band lineup was rounded out by bassist Tony Campos and guitarist/programmer Koichi Fukuda, who collectively inked a deal with Warner Bros records.   Static-X rose to fame with their 1999 platinum selling debut album Wisconsin Death Trip and went on to release five more albums over the course of the next decade: Machine in 2001, Shadow Zone in 2003, Start A War in 2005, Cannibal in 2007, and Cult Of Static in 2009. The band has sold more than 3-million albums in the US alone and has had multiple chart-topping radio singles. They have toured the world extensively, and to this day, maintain a reputation for being one of the best live acts in heavy music. In 2012, the band took a break to pursue outside creative interests and on Nov. 1, 2014 Wayne Static unexpectedly passed away. In 2018, the band announced that they were reforming to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their debut album. The reformed lineup of original members Tony Campos, Koichi Fukuda, Ken Jay and backed by frontman Xer0 delivered acclaimed performances by fans and critics alike. The tour was a massive success, with sold-out shows around the world , proving that Static-X fans remain as committed to the band as ever before. The revitalized Static-X continue to make headlines with their sold-out touring and new music while keeping their signature Evil Disco sound alive.       Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office.
